ホクレア湘南ツアー初の「平沢ボート」へ🚌

西伊豆・平沢のビーチは何度も潜ってきていましたが、ついにボートダイビングをしてきました！

平沢のビーチから見える、淡島ホテルの目の前のポイントで潜ります🤿

このポイントは面白い！

船で１０分ほどで到着です🛳

巨大なソフトコーラルがわんさかと生えてます！

ここまで多い場所は今では珍しく感じます😄

サクラダイ、アカオビハナダイ、キンギョハナダイが群れていてカラフルな水中🐠

平沢(淡島)ボートの魅力は、この「オオミナベトサカ」の群生です👏

淡島沖だからこそ見られる景色は一見の価値あり！

ソフトコーラルにはクダゴンベもいました💡

他にも、ピカチュー(ウデフリツノザヤウミウシ)やカエルアンコウもいて、見どころ満載📸

写真を撮るも良し、地形も面白いので泳いでるだけでも面白い！

Hokulea Shonan’s First Ever Hirahama Boat Dive! 🚤✨

We finally headed out to our very first Hirahama Boat Diving tour with Hokulea Shonan!
We’ve dived the beach at Hirahama in Nishi-Izu many times before, but this was our first time exploring it by boat—and it did not disappoint 😆

The dive site is located right in front of the Awashima Hotel, which you can see from the beach.
And wow… this point is seriously fun! 🤿🔥

It only takes about 10 minutes by boat to reach the site, and once underwater, you’re greeted by an incredible sight—
huge soft corals spreading everywhere! 🌸🌊

Seeing such a dense concentration of soft corals has become quite rare these days.
Schools of Sakuradani, Akaobi Hanadai, and K ingyo Hanadai filled the water with vibrant colors, creating a truly stunning underwater scene 🐠✨

The biggest highlight of the Hirahama (Awashima) boat dive is the massive colony of Oominabetosaka soft corals.
This breathtaking scenery is something you can only experience off Awashima—absolutely worth seeing at least once! 📷💙

You can even spot Longnose Hawkfish hiding among the soft corals in the photos.
In addition, we found “Pikachu” nudibranchs (Thecacera pacifica) ⚡ and Frogfish, making this dive packed with highlights!

Whether you’re into underwater photography 📸 or just enjoy swimming around interesting topography, this site has it all 😄
