ホクレア湘南で密かに人気沸騰中の西伊豆「平沢ボート」へ🛥

まだ潜ったことがない方は要チェックなポイントです👍

期間限定ポイントの「淡島・根の端」で潜ります😄

ポイントまでは船で１０分ほどで到着です💡

潜ってすぐ、コブダイが見れました🐠

突然出てくると、ギョッとします😲

平沢ボート(淡島)の面白さは、ソフトコーラルの数が多く、さらに１つ１つが巨大です！

これだけのソフトコーラルが群生しているポイントは、今ではかなり貴重です😊

そして、一番の見どころはこの「オオミナベトサカ」です！

駿河湾に生息が確認されているソフトコーラルの一種で、モフモフな見た目が特徴です。

この日はかなり咲き誇ってましたが、まだ満開ではない様子✋

いつか見られるであろう、本気のオオミナベトサカが楽しみです😆

サクラダイ、アカオビハナダイなどが群れていて水中写真を楽しむことも出来ます📸

この「淡島」は６月〜８月は潜れなくなりますので、潜ってみたい方はお早めに！

We headed to the increasingly popular Hirasawa Boat in Nishi-Izu, a hidden gem at Hokulea Shonan.
If you haven’t dived here yet, this is definitely a must-check spot!

This time, we explored the limited seasonal point Awashima – Ne no Hata.
It takes only about 10 minutes by boat to reach the site.

Right after descending, we were greeted by a giant wrasse (kobudai).
When they suddenly appear, it definitely makes you jump!

The real charm of Hirasawa Boat (Awashima) is the abundance of soft corals — and each one is massive.
A dive site with such dense and extensive soft coral colonies has become quite rare these days.

And the highlight of the dive is the magnificent Oominabe Tosaka!
This species of soft coral is confirmed to inhabit Suruga Bay and is known for its fluffy, soft appearance.
It was beautifully in bloom on this day, though not quite at its absolute peak yet.

We’re already looking forward to seeing it in full glory someday.

You can also enjoy underwater photography with schools of cherry anthias and red-belted anthias swimming around.

Please note that Awashima is closed to diving from June to August, so if you’d like to experience it, don’t wait too long!
